How to report a safeguarding incident

If you are worried about a young person or adult at risk or receive information which you believe puts them at risk, it is vital you report your concerns. Doing nothing is not an option.

Any concerns relating to abuse or discrimination should be reported directly to GB Archery’s safeguarding team using these forms:

If you would like to discuss your concern with GB Archery first, please call:

  • Anne Rook – National Lead Safeguarding Officer: 01952 602792
  • Karen Hodgkiss – Safeguarding and Governance Officer: 01952 602793

Or email safeguarding@archerygb.org

You can find more information about GB Archery’s Safeguarding policy and procedures here.

Low-level concern

A low-level concern is when a member has acted in a way that may not be serious enough to be referred to the Archery GB Case Management Panel. Low-level concerns can be managed at a club level, with the support from County if the concern cannot be dealt within the club.

Low level concerns which are considered breaches of the Code of Conducts can be reported to the Rugby Archers Welfare Officer at safeguardingofficer@rugbyarchers.co.uk or to the Chair at chairman@rugbyarchers.co.uk.
