Rugby Archers offer beginners’ courses throughout the year for adults and children aged 9 years and over who are serious about taking up archery.
Other than knowing your left from your right there is absolutely no experience required to take a beginner’s course. Unless you are an experienced archer, taking one of our courses is the only way to become a shooting member.
We will advertise our beginners’ courses on our home page, and on our Facebook and Instagram pages. We also have a mailing list – sign up below.
Price
The course costs Β£60 per junior (under 18) and Β£70 per senior.
Course duration
The course is made up of three two-hour sessions held on consecutive Sundays. Details for each session will be available in the advert. Please arrive at each session around 15 minutes early to allow time to set up the equipment.
Under 18s must be accompanied by a guardian to all sessions. There is no exceptions to this.
Equipment
All equipment you will need for the course is provided by Rugby Archers. There is no additional charge for this. If you have your own equipment, you are welcome to bring it along to your course, but you will start off shooting on our equipment and we reserve the right to ask you to continue using our equipment while we assess your shooting.
